Community Guidelines

All healing is self healing. However, none of us has to do it alone.

Welcome to the XLR8yOurLife community. This is where the work continues before programs, between calls, and after your programs end.

Here you will be among others just like you who are doing the work too. This is a place to bring your questions, ask for help, receive encouragement and support, and share your wins along with your struggles.

Everything we do here comes back to one purpose: building our lives from our divinity down to raise our humanity up. This community is where we practice that with each other. These guidelines are how we keep it a place where people feel safe enough to be real.

This community runs on the same agreements that make any relationship work.

How to show up

  • Introduce yourself. Let us know who you are, where you are on your path, and what brought you here. We are glad you are here.
  • Bring your questions. No question is too small or too basic. If you are wondering about something, chances are someone else is too, and your asking helps them as well.
  • Share your wins and your struggles. Both are part of the work, and both help someone else on the path. Celebrate your progress with us, and let us walk with you through the hard parts.
  • Show up for each other. When someone shares, take a moment to respond. A few honest, caring words can mean more than you know.
  • Speak from your own experience. When you share, share from your own experience. Offer reflections, not diagnoses, and avoid giving unsolicited advice. If someone wants feedback or input, trust that they will ask for it, or ask them if it is ok before you offer it.
  • Take full responsibility for yourself. Nobody here is responsible for anyone else's words, actions, or transformation. While we can witness, encourage, challenge, and support each other, your work is yours to do.

What we protect

  • What is shared here stays here. The privacy and sanctity of people in this community must be honored and protected. Each of us agrees not to repeat, screenshot, or reference anyone's story outside of this community without their permission. This includes screenshots of posts and our course materials.
  • We respect every person. Everyone who comes here deserves to feel safe, seen, and respected. We do not tolerate harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind, including on the basis of race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or background.
  • We honor every path. People come here from many spiritual traditions, and some from none. Share your path freely, and honor the paths of others, even when they look different from your own.
  • We genuinely support each other. If someone is struggling, we do what we can to help them. We do not push, try to fix, or debate them. Instead, we treat them as we wish to be treated, and offer compassion and care when needed.
  • We commit to grace and repair. People will miss the mark here, including me. When it happens, we take responsibility for our impact as well as our actions, use these moments to learn, grow, and become even better versions of ourselves, and do what we can to pursue repair and reconciliation whenever possible. We offer both ourselves and each other grace as we move forward and learn from our mistakes. If we mess up we do not vanish or hide, and we do not pile on ourselves or each other.

What does not belong here

  • No selling or recruiting. This community is a place for connection and growth, not marketing. Please do not promote programs, services, products, or other communities, including your own, anywhere in the community, including the feed and direct messages, without my prior written permission. This includes asking members for money, donations, or fundraising support. If you have something you believe would serve this room, message me first.
  • No explicit sexual content. Honest conversation about intimacy, sexuality, and relationships is welcome here, and is often part of the work. Explicit images, graphic sexual content, and unwanted sexual advances toward other members are not.
  • No political debates or discussions. Many of us care deeply about the world, and political conversations can quickly divide a room. To keep this a space where everyone feels welcome, we leave politics outside of it.
  • No unwanted direct messages. You are welcome to connect with other members directly, and real friendships often begin that way. Please honor each person's boundaries. If someone says no, or does not reply, that is your answer. Please respect it without pushing.

Taking care of yourself

  • Share and engage in a way that serves you. Engage at whatever level feels comfortable for you. You never have to share more than you are ready to. Reading, listening, and witnessing others is participation too.
  • Step away when you need to. Taking time away to care for yourself is part of the work. The community will be here when you return.
  • Get the right support when you need it. This community is a place of connection, not therapy or a crisis service. Our programs and conversations are educational and coaching-based, and they do not replace therapy, counseling, or medical care. If you are in danger or need urgent support, please contact emergency services or a crisis line right away.

If something goes wrong

  • Let us know. If you see something that does not belong here, or someone makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please message me directly or email [email protected]. Every report is read and kept private.
  • How we respond. We hold clear boundaries here, and we hold them with care. What happens depends on what was done or said.
    • Posts and comments that violate our community guidelines or our Terms of Service will be removed upon discovery and cannot be reinstated.
    • For most other issues, you will receive a warning before any other action is taken. We will reach out to you privately, discuss what happened and which guideline was violated, give you the opportunity to make amends, and clarify our boundaries, guidelines, and consequences for further violations.
    • If a boundary or guideline is violated again after a warning, you will be removed from the community.
    • Some things will result in immediate removal, without warning or recourse. These include, but are not limited to:
      • harassment, bullying, or threats toward anyone
      • discrimination of any kind
      • sharing screenshots, course materials, or someone's story outside this community without permission
      • explicit sexual images or unwanted sexual advances toward other members
      • selling or recruiting through direct messages

Please note that violations of our community guidelines or Terms of Service that lead to your removal from the community may also lead to your removal from any program you are currently enrolled in.

By being here you also agree to the XLR8yOurLife LLC Terms of Service at xlr8yourlife.com/terms.

To go far, we go together.
